There will only be two actors in this movie: a victim and a killer.

The victim finds herself waking up in the woods being handcuffed to a tree and her mouth silenced by a scarf tied up around her face (the sun is about to set)). After panicking, she manages to detach a small metal part of her jacket and attempts to unlock the handcuffs which she eventually succeeds to do. At the same time a car stops visibly in the background on the field, we see a close up of a man pulling an axe out of his trunk and putting a mask on. From far away we see him slowly but determined approaching the victim’s location. He finds the handcuffs next to the tree and starts screaming out of anger with not recognizable words. The camera switches to the victim running and stumbling through the woods and a shot from her POV showing that she is about to pass out (blurry vision and peeping sound in background). She breaks down just as she reaches the end of the forest. Moments of black. She wakes up again taking a second to recognize the situation she is in. A she attempts to get up, she gets stopped midway being pulled back into the forest. The camera switches in between her screaming and the mask of the killer pulling her

Phrases and Script

Task: Post 5 interesting phrases you overhear this week. You must also post the context of where you heard the phrase, who was speaking and who they were talking to.

1.Phrase: I don´t even want him back... i just want him to think that I do.
Location/Person: Two girls talking in a Cafe about their ex´s

2.Phrase: Rules are not what I care for, methods are.

3.Phrase:I want to get my degree and become a stay home mom who writes novels.
Location/Person: Random girl talking to a guy in the supermarket

Location/Person: Random guy in the voice chat of a sci-fi video game trying to kill someone

Write a 1-page script based on one of the phrases. You can develop a story based on the way you heard the phrase or use it as a springboard to develop an entirely new concept. The way you use the phrase does not need to relate to the way you heard it.

 Microwave Wedding
 by
Philipp Mischke

A kitchen filled with groceries and dishes- Afternoon

Magda her hair disheveled, red cheeks, and her hands full with grocery bags rushes into the kitchen, trying to find an empty place on one of the counters to drop them. Unsuccessfully, she decides to set them on the floor and starts to dig deep in them on her search for her desired item.In her search she throws around the other groceries, groans from exhaustion and finally espies it; the turkey.

Magda
(angry)
I only got 15 god damn minutes left,
so your turkey butt better burn fast!
We see her hastily tearing apart the wrapping of the turkey and sprinting towards the other side of the kitchen opening the door of the microwave. As it turns out the microwave is too small for the huge turkey, which she tries to solve by forcefully trying to push it in.
Magda
(screaming at the Turkey)
I will get you in there no matter what and then
I will microwave you until death and beyond!

Out of despair we see her leave the room, returning after a few minutes with a hammer in her hand heading determined towards the already crushed chicken.

Magda
(sarcastic)
You two will be a cute couple.

Title:

The Artist within us

Tagline:

When the creative mind meets the eye

Logline:

The documentary follows four aspiring artists, each of them with their own choice of medium on how to convert their unique story into something visually that depicts their relationship towards art.

Synopsis:

This documentary is going to show four artists doing their medium/s of art while in the background the audio reveals their opinion, passion and relationship to art. The four interviews are not going to be chronologically order in the video but rather instead the answers are going to be chronological making it seem like the four artists are adding on to each other create a long single monologue.

Locations:
Depending on the artist and chosen medium the location will be at several different places

Artists:
Vanessa Forrest
Pavel Eshanov
Anne Zulas (Pending)
Arlene Pickrell

Resources:
Camera
Lense
Sd Card
Battery
Artists
Stabilizer
Art supplies
Microphone

Interview Questions/Script:
1) Whats your name and what are you studying at IUSB?
2) What is your earliest memory that you can recall doing art / A special moment?
3) When did you realize that ''art'' is going to be a big part of your career?
4) What is your favorite theme/topic to depict in your chosen medium?
5) Where do you draw your inspiration from?
6) What other artists (other branches) inspire you?
7) Which medium is your favorite and elaborate why?
8) What other kind of medium do you wish you would be experienced in/art fascinated by?
9) What do you plan to do after graduating from IUSB?
10) Do you think your future plans/future position will have an influene on others? How are you going to use this influence?
11) If you needed to describe art in one sentence, what would it be?
12) What advice/insight do you have for other aspiring artists?
13) If you look at other peoples art piece what do you think about (first)?
14) How much influence do you does art have, why do you think that?
15) What would you respond to someone who thinks that art is a waste of time and not worth the effort? How would you convince him otherwise?
16) What art piece are you most proud of that you have created so far? Describe it and why it means so much to you?
17) What would you life look like if you had to give up art? How would it make you feel?

Script:
The video starts of with a black screen and the answer to question 11) answered by all four artists. The main part of the documentary is going to show all of the artists doing their passion in form of different medium while the other answers to the questions play in the background but seem to hold a story/plot as if someone was holding a poetic speech about art. The final scenes will be about question 12) which will have the exception of having each artist in front of a white background giving their advice directly to the camera and thereby directly to the audience.

(I wish I could write more about the envisioned script but a great part of this documentary and its structure is passed on what the artist´s responses will look like)
